We’re pleased to say that a number of our classes will continue to run over the February School Break (17th to 21st February). However please be aware there will be no Gentle Exercise, Pilates or Scottish Dancing classes on the Tuesday and Thursday that week.
We have been told today by Hayley Conlan of The Staying Well Team that there have been cases reported where unscrupulous individuals are turning up on people’s doorsteps saying they are from Staying Well or even Healthwatch and that they have been referred to them. These people then extort money from vulnerable people by getting them to buy furniture, aids etc.
DO NOT open your door to anyone you do not know or who you are not expecting. Officials from Staying Well or Healthwatch do not turn up unannounced and would not try to sell you anything. If you have experienced anything like this, please contact us or the Staying Well team on 01422 393956 or to Rachel their Admin worker on 01422 392767.
