Yee-ha, dig out your cowboy boots, dust off your hats and make a date for every Monday afternoon at Highgate. For all our regular dancers, Line Dancing with Cindy starts again at 1.30pm on 2nd September.
If you’re new to this type of dancing it’s not necessary for any special footwear or headgear, just your enthusiasm and we’re sure you’ll have a good time and keep fit in the process. You’ll be made most welcome – all we ask is that you arrive about 15 mins before the class starts for registration. Your first class is free then you only pay £3 for each class you come to after that.
We’re looking forward to seeing you.

We have been told today by Hayley Conlan of The Staying Well Team that there have been cases reported where unscrupulous individuals are turning up on people’s doorsteps saying they are from Staying Well or even Healthwatch and that they have been referred to them. These people then extort money from vulnerable people by getting them to buy furniture, aids etc.
DO NOT open your door to anyone you do not know or who you are not expecting. Officials from Staying Well or Healthwatch do not turn up unannounced and would not try to sell you anything. If you have experienced anything like this, please contact us or the Staying Well team on 01422 393956 or to Rachel their Admin worker on 01422 392767.
Please pass this message around to anyone you know who could be affected.
Reluctantly, we have decided to close our Line Dancing classes from today for the remainder of the summer. Unfortunately attendances over recent weeks have been low mainly due to people taking their holidays. We are hopeful we will be able to run the classes again in the autumn. If you’d like to come to a Line Dancing class in the future or would like further details, please contact Diane Millar on 07741 418461.
