Our AGM will be held once again at Highgate Church, Stretchgate Lane, Pellon on Friday afternoon, 9 March 2018 and we invite any member of High Five to join us.
The meeting will start promptly at 2.00pm, so we would ask everyone attending to have signed in and be seated at 1.55pm. This will enable us to conduct the business part of the meeting by 2.30pm and elect our officers. Before our AGM, please do think about whether you could offer to help on the Committee, we need some fresh ideas and new stamina to take the group into the 2020’s! Some of our committee members are running out of steam now and more hands make light work. If you’re thinking about joining us, please ask Sue or Margaret for a nomination form, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
After the meeting, this year we’ve arranged a visit by a Physiotherapist who will explain ‘How best to look after our joints, muscles and our achy bits!’
We hope to see you there

All High Five members are invited to join us as we celebrate the festive season this year with a Scottish flavour of music and entertainment by our very own Singers and Scottish Dancers. Maybe you’d like to try a wee reel on the dance floor or join in a Christmas carol or two, or just enjoy socialising with your friends. It’s your opportunity to let your hair down and have a bite to eat later in the afternoon.
Our ever popular summer event of Afternoon Tea at Highgate will be held on Friday, 7 July this year. This is a free event for all members of High Five, so come along at 2.00pm with your class friends and have a chat over tea, sandwiches and cakes.
